Test Your Brain Documentary

Today, I choose to review on a documentary premiered by the National Geographic channel on the title ‘Test Your Brain’. This documentary is very interesting since it shows us many things that we did not realize all this while. The thing that we called magic is actually a trick that runs through our mind. Sometimes our mind can be fooled by the things that we see with our eyes.
This documentary gives me a lot of information about how the brain works. We tend to believe in what we see, but not all the things that we see is the truth. I am very interesting on how the man is using his trick to steal things and the victims did not realize it at all. In this clip, I know that human barely can do the multi tasking. The man is talking with the victims while stealing so that is why the victim did not realize about this at all. I know that our brain usually work really fast but sometimes it can not catch the thing that hard to see. Our brain also transferred the information received to our nerve cells. That is why when I am watching the action movies, sometimes I would felt that I’m in the situation. Although the character in the movie gets hurt, sometimes I can feel the same.
Test Your Brain really challenging our brain since it shows me many tricks that make my brain works in different way, but I often lose this challenge that involved the brain. It shows that my brain is hard to focus on many things at one time. So, I’m not the multi tasking type of person. I guess I have to stop on doing things last minutes. The best part is, this documentary teaches me how to plan my daily schedule. This documentary is the best and interesting documentary that I’ve watches all this while.

Our brains are hardwired to make sense of what we see, hear, smell, touch and taste, and fill in missing pieces with whatever our expectations suggest should be there.  This helps us understand sentences even when the letters are out of place.  But while brains are amazing at processing the world around us, how much should you actually trust your own brain?  Enough to multitask by chatting on your cell phone while taking a drive?  Think spotting a dancing, life-size penguin sounds easy? Or how about riding a bike with your eyes closed, or picking the right person out of a line-up after witnessing a crime?~(http://natgeotv.com/asia/test-your-brain/about)

try to challenge yourself with this first!!
